Obstetrician and Gynaecologist,

Dr Jessica Klein is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist working in the South Eastern areas of Melbourne. She is involved in gynaecological services for women throughout all stages of their lives and provides pre-pregnancy counselling, care throughout the pregnancy and all modes of birth as well as postnatal reviews and advice.

After graduating from medicine at Monash University in 2005, Jessica spent 18 months training in Alice Springs and gaining her RANZCOG Diploma before commencing formal obstetrics and gynaecology training through Monash Health. In addition to attaining her Fellowship with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2016, Jessica has also competed a Masters of Public Health through Monash University, with a focus on diabetes in pregnancy. She has undertaken research with Menzies School of Health Research in this area whilst working in Darwin in the later years of her specialty training. Jessica holds public appointments at Monash Health within the pregnancy diabetes and obesity clinical team as well as at Eastern Health. She is involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and training doctors. She provides general gynaecological services including management of menstrual problems, colposcopy and general gynaecological laparoscopic and open surgery. Jessica loves caring for women with low and high risk pregnancies and providing comprehensive and tailored care for mothers and their growing babies.

Dr Jessica Klein will be looking after Dr Jackie’s patients during her maternity leave, from Monday 14th May until Wednesday 20th June.
